Baptism of infants, children and adults is usually a separate service, held at 2.30pm on an agreed Sunday, and occasionally, at other times by arrangement.

Baptism can also be part of the Sunday Parish Eucharist, at 10am, by arrangement with the Vicar.

Dates available depend on other services in the diary, including weddings.

Usually two or three families come for Baptism together.

Each family is asked to limit their guest numbers to a maximum of 50, to allow everyone to be seated comfortably. However, there can be some flexibility where it is known that one family will be having fewer guests - please check with the Parish Office.

Two vergers will also be in attendance to assist in the smooth running of the service and with seating arrangements.

A few weeks before the service parents and godparents meet with the clergy to discuss the Baptism vows and traditions.
