A funeral at St Mary's is an occasion to give thanks for the life of the person who has died, to share memories and to bid them farewell. Together we celebrate love given and received and surround the family with care and concern. We pray for strength for days ahead as we commend our loved ones to the peace of God.

The Church can accommodate up to 200 mourners.
Two vergers will be in attendance to assist in the smooth running of the service and with seating arrangements.

Remembering Loved Ones

Prayers are said at services in the Church and at the Hall for those who have died.
Thereafter, on each anniversary of their funeral, their name is included in the prayers.

To help those bereaved an annual service Remembering Together is held each autumn in the Church.

St Mary's Churchyard and Millennium Garden

Memorial Headstones

Please contact the Vicar before placing orders with Monumental Masons. Written permission must be obtained from the Vicar before the memorial is commissioned. Cremated Remains
An area of the Millennium Garden is set aside for interment of ashes. Please contact the Vicar for details.
