A wedding at St Mary's is an unforgettable day, not only for the bride and groom, but for family and friends too.

Situated in a semi-rural location, the Parish Church of St Mary's offers a beautiful location for wedding services, with its magnificent views of the Yorkshire Moors to the south.

The Church is easily accessed by main road and there is ample car-parking available close by.

The Church can accommodate up to 200 guests in comfort.

The St. Mary's Flower Guild are always happy to decorate the church in accordance with the couples wishes, for a very reasonable fee.

A verger will be in attendance to assist in the smooth running of the service and with seating arrangements.

Music

St Marys is currently looking for a replacement organist. Enquiries about music for weddings should be addressed to Vicar through the Parish Office (Tel. 01642 316570)

The St Mary's Festival Choir may also be available to sing at your wedding. Enquiries about choir availability and fees should be made to the Organist. If you would like to hear the choir in action you will find a list of their forthcoming appearances on the Music in Church page. If you are not able to come to one of these services then, by arrangement with the organist, it may be possible for you to hear them at one of their weekly practices.

Photographs may be taken within the church by arrangement with the Vicar, after the service.

Well-wishers are asked to wait until they are outside the Lych Gate before throwing confetti, respecting the churchyard, which is visited by many people bringing flowers to the graves of loved ones
